Nude is beauty

How should a person be? No one knows how to be, but to be naked is to let all out in the open, with no place to hide, to be oneself with no shame, this way nothing is sacred and nothing is secret. Nude goes beyond sexuality, its freedom. The space this work was created depicts the bareness of nature and its beauty, so are the two naked men placed in opposition dimension on dry leaves, the concept is to explore how man interacts with his immediate environment.

“Bloot”

A group exhibition with 10 young artists all over Flanders. Curating the young brings photography, paintings, poetry... to the streets of Brussels, Leuven, Ghent, Antwerp and Hasselt.

What does "Bloot" mean? It's nakedness, in all its forms. Discover how the artists translate this theme each in their own way.

This exhibition was made possible by Curating The Young, a young and dynamic curatorial collective that makes space for up-and-coming talent. For five years now, they have been providing a stage for young artists.
